Our Mission
The diagnosis of cancer represents a massive disruption to the daily lives of affected children, adolescents, and their families. Psychosocial support is a key factor in improving the health of affected children and adolescents.
We want to permanently improve the psychosocial care of children and adolescents with cancer as well as their families. For this, we are committed to our psychosocial projects in the Ruhr region and the Rhineland. These include follow-up consultation hours, but also research projects in social work and healthcare research to better assess and implement the needs of affected families.
As a childhood cancer network, we stand by affected children and adolescents as well as their families. We work to provide the greatest possible support to affected families—this requires a strong network.
